What do you get as ‘Preferred Partner’?

  • You will get a personalized Decarbonizer tool or similar, tailor-made to your needs.

    Our goal is to make your life and those of shipowners easier. That is why we want to create a single place where they get help on all their sustainability needs. Our main tool to help people, is the Decarbonizer, a tool to quickly analyse what you must do to comply, what you can do to decarbonize, and what you have to pay.

    A shipowner can use this tool, decides which technology and supplier he prefers, and contact you directly.

    That means he (or she) knows what to expect and is already interested, so you know you have a hot lead. As hot as they get.

  • Our tools are dedicated to help you speed up the client acquisition process by almost instantly providing you with a feasibility study and the lead for the client. For preferred partners, we ask no referral or commission fees for this service. None.

    When a shipowners is directed to you, it is you he wants. We are simply interested in showcasing your product, service or technology and help him determine as easily as possible if you can help him. That’s it.

    In return, we get better content on our platform and can service our client better with more complete information. That helps us to create that single place with all the information the shipowner needs and gets us both what we want: to make the marine industry more sustainable.

    As a final note, we like to state that we are working on a revenue sharing system in which you (the supplier) will actually receive (part of) the revenue of every report or subscription we sell, which makes use of your technology! More information on this will be made available soon.

  • As a preferred partner, you become part of a community of potential clients, shipowners and fellow like-minded people who share a common cause. No fees, no subscriptions. You get instant access to our community meetings, lunch and learn sessions and share knowledge, expertise and perhaps even people to accelerate the maritime energy transition.

    Our community and insights aim to provide you with the needs and questions that are being asked by potential customers, with which you can improve your service or product. We can tell you what people are interested in (and what not). This insights will be shared freely with you.

 
 
 

How much will it cost?

  • You will not have to pay to become a preferred partner, but free* does not mean it comes without cost.

    You will have to provide an in-kind contribution in the form of time and knowledge.

    This can still be a serious commitment, taking a few hours per week of costs in terms of providing feedback on tool usage, development, knowledge sharing or other. Because we ourselves also do not have indefinite resources, we adhere to an approximate maximum of 4 hours support per week.

    What we ask in return for our offer, is for you to share knowledge that you feel comfortable sharing on our platforms. This will help make life easier for shipowners and help us achieve our common goal: to make the maritime industry more sustainable.

How to proceed?

  • First step is to simply sit down and have a chat. We can meet in virtual or in real life, in which case coffee will be on us!

  • If you wish to continue, we sign a partnership agreement tailored to your needs. An example is shown below.

    Usually, the main deliverable of this agreement is to incorporate your product, tool or service into the ‘Decarbonizer’, the tool that makes life easier for a shipowner. Of course, you are free to change the proposal more to your liking.

    Once we have signed the agreement and expectations are aligned, we can start making the maritime industry more sustainable.

In other words, we want to provide shipowners with the cheapest alternative for a sustainability advisor. We call this ‘Sustainability on Demand’, a subscription to a sustainability advisor in a way.

    We ask for a small premium for speed or customized projects (such as the building of a tool) or we ask for a monthly subscription to provide a ‘sustainability advisor on demand’ for a month.

    That is why we do not ask for a commission or a fee. We are not in the business of taking money from a preferred partner. What we get in return for showcasing your technology, product or service, is that we can provide shipowners with a single place for all their sustainability needs.
